Doedd yna ddim lluniau o'r gêm yn erbyn Cwmbach felly dyma un arall o din siapus ein rhif 10 dawnus yn erbyn Porthcawl wythnos diwetha'
Roedd hon yn fwy na gêm gwpan i lawer o fois Cymric gydag atgofion tymor diwethaf yn dal yn ffres yn y cof. (Manylion yn yr iaith fain.)
Felly fe ddechreuodd Cymric yn gryf a chyn pen dim roedd y tîm cartref ar y blaen diolch i beniad gwych gan Ryan David, a oedd wedi ei enwi yn y XI yn dilyn camweddau'r ymosodwr Dylan Evans yn oriau mân y bore. (Manylion eto i ddod i'r amlwg.)
Eiliadau cyn yr egwyl fe ddyblodd Osh Gun y fantais gan grymanu ei ergyd yn gelfydd gyda'i goes dde i gornel ucha'r rhwyd.
Llwyddodd Cwmbach i sgorio yn yr ail hanner, ac roedden nhw'n anlwcus i beidio dod â'r sgôr yn gyfartal ambell waith.
Ond fe lwyddodd y tîm mewn gwyrdd i ddal ar y fantais a mynd trwodd i'r ail rownd.

Cymric welcomed Cwmbach Royal Stars to Cwrt yr Ala for this W John Owen Cup first round clash.
This was a big match for the boys as lowly Cwmbach denied them promotion to the Premier Division last season after we were on the wrong end of a 3-2 score line when a point would have seen us across the line.
Cymric started very brightly and went ahead after mid-way through the first half. Some nice inter-play in midfield released Oshy down the left and his cross was met by Ryan who headed the ball over the keeper into the net.
Cymric played some nice football and were very comfortable in possession and they extended their lead on the stroke of half time when Oshy found some space in the Cwmbach box and he lifted an excellent effort with his right foot (yes, right foot) over the keeper into the top corner.
Cwmbach came out fighting in the second half and should have reduced the arrears within 5 minutes when a superb long range effort cannoned back off the post. Some more sloppy play saw Cwmbach have another chance a few minutes later but again the ball struck the woodwork with the crossbar coming to Cymric’s rescue this time.
Eventually, Cwmbach got their reward with a nice finish in the box after some more sloppy play by the Cymric boys. A couple of substitutions made by the Gaffer then calmed things down a bit and Cymric started to play some nice football again.
Cymric should have extended their lead a couple of times but the Cwmbach keeper made an excellent save and Vince had a goal disallowed when he was adjudged to have put the ball in the net with his elbow but it was quite clearly the ginger bonce he used to head powerfully in. Cymric held on for a good victory and a place in the hat for the next round.
